The world is gradually moving towards a serious energy crisis with an ever-increasing demand of energy overstepping its supply. It is known that the energy we use daily is not unlimited, yet we take it for granted. Oil, gas, power, even water has limited availability. Also, we have not taken enough precautions to deal with a possible energy crisis. When I say ‘we’, I am not referring to the governments but to all of us, the common people.
Oil and gas have already become too expensive, and with each passing day, they are moving towards being extinct. Some ignorant people think that energy crisis is a myth. They fail to see the big picture. There have been three major energy crises so far – the 1973 oil crisis, the 1979 energy crisis, and the 1990 oil-price hike, apart from several regional crisis.
Prices have been rapidly increasing for the last five years, thanks to the ever-increasing demand and the increasing shortage of energy resources.
How soon will it be all gone?
Are the cynics right in saying that we are making a mountain of a molehill, or is the energy crisis for real? Picture this: We have already exhausted 50 percent of the available oil. At the current rate of consumption, the rest of the oil will finish in 32 years! Imagine if the rate of consumption increases! We all know it is bound to increase. So, even the present generation will face an acute energy crisis in the later years, let alone future generations.
What are we doing about it?
Are we equipped to face the impending energy crisis? What can you and I do to tackle it? For starters, we need to understand the importance of energy in our lives and stop taking it for granted. We have to minimize the use of oil, gas, electricity, or any other fuel. We cannot afford to waste any available energy. It is also important to spread awareness about limited availability of energy resources. Simple things like joining a car pool, switching off car engines at traffic lights, and minimizing the use of gas and oil in everyday activities will help a long way in crisis-readiness.

How To Build a Solar Panel
The first step of learning how to build a solar panel is to look for a copper sheet. It can be more easily acquired than silicon; besides, like silicon, copper has photoelectric capabilities. Approximately one-half square foot of copper sheet is necessary, but since the hardware sells large sheets, then you can still store the remaining part of the sheet or make more cells.
It aren't difficult to build your own DIY solar panels. You will need a decent stove to create the cells. An electric one with hot plates instead of coils would be perfect but not a must. The copper sheet should be cut to fit the burner. The sheet and your hands should be washed in soap and water to eliminate dirt or other materials. The copper sheet should be brushed with a copper wire or sandpaper. This will ensure that light corrosion is eliminated. After the sheet has dried, this should be placed on top of the stove burner and the heat turned on to the highest capacity that the stove can make.
Watch the copper sheet heat up, but make sure you don't touch it. Orange or red colors will appear as the sheets are heated. Continue heating even when blank flakes can be seen forming on top of the sheet. Then a black layer of cupric oxide is observed and should be allowed to be heated for more than thirty minutes to ensure that the black coating will become thicker and will easily flake off from the original copper sheet. You will know if the sheet is not cooked well because the black coating will just stick to the original sheet. The heat should be turned low then off.
After the heating process, you should allow the burner and the sheet to cool off by themselves. Do not come too near the sheet because some bits of hot copper might come off the sheet and give off sparks of tiny metal dust. After the sheet has cooled, you should lightly brush some of the small bits of copper that are stuck in the sheet. The red layer will be the one used for the solar panels.
You should cut a similar size of copper sheet and bend them together lightly. Arrange them in a plastic bottle but do not allow them to touch each other. Attach one alligator clip lead to the heated copper sheet and one to the unheated sheet. The lead from the heated plate should then be attached to the positive point of a micro-ammeter with 10 to 50 mA capacity; the other lead should be at the negative point.
Make a salt solution and add to the jar without wetting the leads. One inch of the copper sheets should not be soaked in the solution. You can now bring this to where the sun can be seen, and the solar panel ammeter will show activity.

How To Build a Perpetual Motion Machine
Many new ideas have been tested and researched to harness energy from different sources. For instance, wind turbines have been used to harness energy from the wind. Solar power systems are used to generate electricity from the sun. And now, we have across a new source of energy that perhaps only a few people have taken notice: magnetic energy. This source of energy source is used through a magnetic energy generator.
The magnetic power generator runs through the force field created by the magnets' opposing force. This machine is known as the perpetual motion machine. A huge amount of skepticism has been already been accumulated among the people for the past 10 years, the machine has survived and is now generally accepted as a new source of energy. It is not true that the magnet motor energy will run for eternity and will never stop, as the word perpetual implies. This was only said so because the machine can last up to hundreds of years. Some claimed that it has the ability to last up to 400 years.
Currently, this machine is not yet available in a large scale. The machines are just sold to homeowners and small businesses. However, a simple machine can actually work up to 7,000 watts. This is enough to power up the electrical supply of an entire household including appliances that are heavy on electricity wattage. All you need to do now to use the magnet motor energy is to buy your magnet motor energy manual and start building your own machine. This is very cost effective and is very easy to build.
This is how a perpetual motion machine works:
When you connect the north and the south polarity of a magnet the opposite way, they will repulse each other. A third magnet in the middle will create a force field between these magnets. This force field can then be converted to energy and can help you generate electricity.
These are some of the benefits of a perpetual motion machine:
• It can cut your electrical bills in half or even completely eliminate it.
• It is an environmentally friendly machine and does not cause any pollution.
• It works in all weather conditions.
• It doesn't require a large amount of space.
• Low maintenance costs.
• You can build and install it for less than $100.
• It's completely safe even with children near the vicinity. It isn't flammable or combustible.
• You don't have to be a scientist to construct this machine. The process is very easy, especially if you get your hands on some good building plans. The materials are affordable and can be found at your local hardware store.

Learn How To Build a Magnetic Generator
When electrical expenses become a burden, it makes sense to start converting to alternative source of energy. A magnetic generator is what you may need in your house. It is easy to build and costs no more than a hundred dollars. First of all, the power is generated by magnetic fields and it is small enough to house in a corner of the garage. In addition, it is safe for kids to move around the vicinity of the device.
This magnetic energy generator is both easy to handle and even easier to construct. The system operates on the simple concept of attraction and repulsion between the polarities of magnets. It is this attraction and repulsion which results in perpetual motion, which is then converted into electricity. Just as solar power systems converts sunlight into electricity, so does magnetic generator converts perpetual motion into electricity. Maintenance is minimal and the systems are extremely reliable resulting in very little interruption in service. It is also not dependent on external weather factors such as sunlight of wind in order to produce energy.
The energy is produced through perpetual motion, with the energy required to keep it running being far less than the energy it produces. This means that the device has energy to spare and building multiple devices and stacking them, you could easily generate enough power to eliminate your electrical bills forever.
The total cost of a magnetic power generator that would provide around 50% of our household needs in a home with two adults and one child, is in the region of $100 inclusive of all the components that can be easily obtained from the local hardware store.
For anyone looking for an alternative energy supply and want to take advantage of the latest technology to produce free, clean energy for their homes and families, the magnetic generator is indeed by far the most economically and environmentally viable.

Cut Your Electrical Bills With A Solar Panel
Solar panel is the answer to building a clean and green environment. Base on Albert Einstein’s explanation, this is due to natural elements such as silicon getting a charge when said element is exposed to direct sunlight. It is this principal that is the basis for solar panels. This principal is called solar photovoltaic.
What exactly is a solar panel?
It is a device that is able to convert the solar energy protons of light into electricity, using the variety of wavelengths of light plus low temperatures. The best solar panels are constructed using processed silicone however; this material is very expensive to process and to purchase. On the good side is that silicone isn't the only element that is capable of photoelectric effects. On the down side is that they are less efficient in producing the flow of electricity needed. On the plus side of this is that copper is easy to pick up at a hardware store.
The simplest way to build your own solar panel would be to purchase solar cells and build your own frame. When you are buying silicon solar calls, it would be cheapest by buying second hand or damaged cells. As long as the surface wires are intact, the cell should work fine. They will need a bit of time to make sure that they are working by testing and soldering them together.
Remember that while each cell produces half a volt no matter the size of the cell, the output increases with the size. Also the cells need to be the same size so the current isn't limited to the smallest cell.
Since silicon solar cells are so fragile they need to be encased in a rigid frame that will protect them from damage and prevent bending. Typically the frame is made from wood but the frame can also be metal. The front is made of glass or acrylic, commercially known as Plexiglas, Lucite or Perspex.
The frame is usually rectangular with multiple rows and columns of closely placed together. The frame edge needs to be high enough to cover the cells. Before attaching the solar cells they need to be tested to see if they can hold a charge. This is where a voltmeter comes in, to check to see it generates a voltage in the sunlight. The cells then are placed close together with the thin wires facing outwards and their tabs wired together. Since large panels can produce well over ten amperes of current, the panel needs to be wired with heavy duty hookup wire. Once the cells are arranged positive lead to negative lead of the next cell and connected, they need to attach to the frame by an adhesive.
This is the list of materials you need:
• Solar Cells
• Wire crimping tool
• Wire cutters
• A sheet of plywood
• Copper wires
• Screwdriver
• Cobalt steel jobbers' twist drill bit, heavy duty, wire gauge size 26, 3" L, 1c" L flute
• Machine screw size high-speed steel hand tap taper, 10-24, H3 pitch diameter, 4 flute
• 7/32 drill bit
• Plastic sheet cutter
• Reamer
• Pliers
• Hacksaw
• Solder, 60/40 or silver
• Soldering iron, or soldering station
• Sheets of glass
• Drill
• DIY installation guide
Once this done then it is time to do the final test, this is to see if the panel produces the expected voltage. Once you are satisfied then the cover can be screwed down and then sealed with silicone sealant around the frame edge so to protect against water. This is a brief explanation on how to build your own solar panel. You may want to get a DIY installation guide to make things easier for your building process.

How To Make DIY Solar Panel
With the current economic recession, this is the best time to start a DIY solar panel project to save money on your electrical bills! The process of making a DIY solar panel has become easier now because of availability of excellent guides that give you all the minute details clearly and in precise manner. You just have to buy the guide and follow it step by step. These guides are easily available on the Internet. By paying a small amount you can almost instantly download a guide.
Once you have a guide, you will be able to generate a list of materials required and also buy the components for a DIY solar panel at the cheapest cost. When you get the material delivered at your doorstep, all you need to do is to follow the guide for assembling various sub units. Once all the sub units are completed, you just have to assemble the whole unit and install it. Most of the tools for assembling the unit should be available with you at home. If required you can always borrow or buy some of the tools.
Many people are now deciding to build a solar panel as a way to slash their electricity costs. Contrary to common belief, making your own panel is very easy to do and doesn't require any special skills. You are going to need some materials, like: a micro-meter, 2 alligator clip leads, table salt, tap water, sandpaper, an electric stove and copper wires.
You can find these materials at a very low price in your local hardware store. The panels will absorb sunlight and turn it into heat and electricity, which can be used to power all the appliances of your house such as the fridge, stove, dishwasher, laundry room facilities and more.
The benefits of a DIY solar panel include:
• Reduce your electricity bill by at least 80% or even completely eliminate it.
• Protect the environment by reducing your carbon footprint.
• Get tax credits for using environmentally - friendly energy.
• Increase the value of your home.
• Sell the extra energy you generate back to the power company and make a profit.
• Increase your efficiency and never worry about power outages again.
• Reduce your dependability on exhaustible resources.
Compared to installing a pre-made panel, making your own is much more cost-effective. You will only need to spend $100-$200 to buy all the necessary parts, instead of paying up to $3000 for a prebuilt panel. You need to install the system where it can absorb direct sunlight. For this purpose you can use the garden, the roof or the backyard.
Capturing and converting sunlight into a usable form is now easier than ever. More and more people everyday take advantage of the power of the sun, in order to cut back on their monthly expenses and reduce or even eliminate the electrical bills.

Solar Power Projects
Solar Power Projects - Generally, solar power does not create any sort of pollutions. In other words, it does not harm the environment, and it is always available. It is one of the most readily available sources of renewable energy on earth, and yet only a small fraction of it is used, mainly due to the expense of installing photovoltaic cells that turn sunlight into energy. Experts have likened installing solar cells to paying for your energy for the next twenty years in advance; a solar setup can cost from $20,000 to $50,000. Although initially, installing solar panels can be quite costly, the long term result is sure to be that of great savings.
However, the present advancement in technology have made solar power kits more affordable, putting solar energy within reach of average American families who not only want to join the renewable energy movement but also save money on their energy bills. Solar power kits now can help homeowners to build their own solar system for as little as $200.
Materials you’ll need to prepare apart from the solar power kit:
• A sheet of plywood
• Wire crimping tool
• Wire cutters
• Solder, 60/40 or silver
• Soldering iron, or soldering station
• Sheets of glass
• Drill
• Copper wires
• Screwdriver
• Cobalt steel jobbers' twist drill bit, heavy duty, wire gauge size 26, 3" L, 1c" L flute
• Machine screw size high-speed steel hand tap taper, 10-24, H3 pitch diameter, 4 flute
• 7/32 drill bit
• Plastic sheet cutter
• Reamer
• Pliers
• Hacksaw
How can solar power kits help you save money on your energy bills? Try this simple exercise: compute how much energy your home appliances consume and how much it costs you to buy this electricity from your local power utility. Then consider that if you use solar power to operate these appliances, it is virtually free once you get past initial installation costs. You'll be surprised at how much you can save, even if not all of your appliances are powered by solar cells.
There truly is no reason for homeowners not to shift to using solar power to meet their electricity needs. And solar power kits could ease this transition by putting the technology within reach of the majority of American families.
If you’re tired of your expensive monthly electrical bills, learn how easily solar power can save you a whole lot of money every month.

DIY Solar Panel
Making a DIY solar panel isn’t really that hard and it can be completed with just a small investment of not more than $200. On a bright, sunny day, the sun shines approximately 1,000 watts of energy per square meter of the planet's surface, and if we could have a collection of all of that energy we could with no trouble power our homes and offices for at no cost. Current solar cells available are around 15-20% effective, but that is more than enough for an entire household’s needs.
With a solar panel, you can instantly provide free supply of electricity to a number of appliances in your household. The amount of power you can generate will depend on the quantity of panels you set up. As such, if you are able to build a lot of these panels, you might just be able to eliminate energy expenses altogether from your bills. This will allow you to benefit from the extra money you saved on those comforts that you wanted so much.
The advantages of making a DIY solar panel include the following:
1. Solar energy is free and renewable. You can lower or even eliminate your monthly electricity bills.
2. Sunlight hours overlap nicely with peak demand. Therefore, solar panels can produce more than enough supply of electricity when it is most required.
3. Increases the value to your property significantly. This will increase your chances of recovering your initial financial outlay.
4. Your solar panels can operate with little maintenance or intervention after initial setup.
5. You can sell your excess electricity back to the electric company for generating surplus electricity.
A DIY solar panel is not complicated to install at all. The idea is catching on so fast. I'm sure there is at least one person in your neighborhood that has installed DIY solar panels themselves. Or you can research on more home solar power systems that have proven track records.
Why pay thousands when a DIY solar panel can be completed for less than $200. All you need to do is to build a box (panel) with a glass top, out of the readily accessible materials for the solar cells, which are surprisingly inexpensive, put the cells in the box and do the wiring. There are several impressive manuals available to assist your building process. In addition, there will be a step by step instructional video to lead you along the way.

Solar Product - Solar Panels and Solar Water Heaters
Solar Product - Solar energy is abundant, therefore, it is the best option when one is looking for new energy sources and as the years go by and solar technology becomes better, cheaper and more efficient in terms of capturing and processing energy, the options for someone looking to have solar product in their home continue to get better.
It is not the cheapest option in the world to use solar product like home solar power system and DIY solar water heater, however, the amount of money you saved up within a couple of years will certainly bring you back your capital costs. Some people just don't have the ability to save or do not want to, preferring to use their money for other things. For these people, a do-it-yourself solution would be quite useful as it would allow them to get the solar panels or solar water heaters they want at prices that are a lot more reasonable.
While the solar product industry is still not a particularly big one, there are two options available to you if you are a person that is interested in a do-it-yourself project. The first option is a hybrid between complete reliance and complete self-action and it involves purchasing the solar panels directly from a manufacturer and then installing the system yourself. This can be a bit tricky to do since it involves a fair amount of work that would be classified as advanced under most DIY methods of judgment, but at the same time it is far from impossible to do. Your main worry with this method however is that the solar systems are expensive and therefore one misstep or dropped panel could wipe out any savings you wanted to garner by doing the installation yourself.
Many people opt for the second DIY solution which is to buy a package of broken solar panel pieces and then reuse those broken pieces to create solar power. Once that is done, you can then install it yourself, with both the panel creation and the installation being carried out at a very small fraction of the price it would have cost you to get both of those things done by someone else. Obtaining broken solar panel bits isn't that difficult, but constructing the solar panel can be difficult and that is why you need to make sure you have a dependable guide to consult before you even consider following this option.

How To Make Collector Solar
Collector Solar - In total, there are two different types of collector solar: The flat plate and the evacuated tube. While a greater amount of sun falls on the flat plate, the evacuated tube collectors are better insulated. However, as the sun moves in an arc through the sky, the flat plate collector’s effective area reduces, and as the evacuated tube collectors are cylindrical, the area presented toward the sun is identical.
The main thing to bear in mind about collector solars is keeping the heat in and the cold out. This can be accomplished by using glazing on the sun-facing side of the panels and thermal insulation on the surfaces that faces away from the sun. We need to try to eliminate thermal bridges as far as we possibly can.
Aluminum clip fins are one of the easiest ways of assembling a collector solar hastily, as they essentially clip onto a matrix of copper pipe.
Another way of constructing a collector solar is to use an old radiator painted black inside an insulated box. This system contains more water, and as a result has a slower response time. This is because it takes more time to heat up the thermal mass of the radiator.
One of the common problems that collector solars suffer from is freezing in the winter. When the temperature drops too low, the water in the pipes of the collectors expands. This runs the risk of severely damaging the collectors.
